This past week, the CEO of Portal Telemedicine, Rafael Figueroa, in a Startup Lab project, visited the State University of Piaui (UESPI) and the Federal University of Piaui (UFPI).
Rafael participated in the opening of the Startup Lab, a UESPI entrepreneurship program that was accelerated by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He participated in the event giving a lecture on the theme “Revolution in R&D and Machine Learning within the healthcare industry”.
In addition, Rafael met with UFPI professors and students, where he talked about ways to put their research into practice, applying knowledge to obtain results and generate real impacts. For this, Portal Telemedicine’s R&D team and researchers from the institutions will be able to work together on future projects.
